April 10, 2019 SAM Release

  1. Checklist sections can be managed to give visibility or not to a family. This is really helpful to hide sections that are finished by the family, so they can view the most relevant tasks and prevent them from editing documents. Visibility can be turned on/off as needed. Review how Public Checklists work in SAM.

  2. Forms now show the Record ID alongside the name of the Entity being viewed. Open any client record to see the change!

  3. Clients want to view names, particularly Family names in different configurations. An option under the Table is now available to view as Last, First or First Last, depending on what best serves your team.

  4. Timeline fields can span multiple tables and users can set stats to show on reports for these fields. Learn more about Field types.

  5. The Communications field has been updated to remove those pesky extra bullets and spaces for lists!

  6. There is no special function for Birth Mother Linked to Case or Adoptive Family linked to Birth Mother Case. These are outdated recording options. Best Practice for linking families and birth parents is through the Adoption record. Think of it as the Adoption Plan.

  7. Entity Conversion consistently works for all fields on Main entity tables.

Cover Pages show the Record ID.

Edit forms now display the Record, ID and the type of edit you’re working on. There’s a lot going on, we know it can be tough to remember.
